The Spirits Unmasked

The spirit guardians reveal who they really are to Michael Harner during his very first journey into the spiritual realm.  I will highlight certain words in the quotes to help you better see who they are.

While Mr. Harner was having this spiritual journey he recalls “I could only very dimly perceive the givers of these thoughts: giant reptiliam creatures reposing sluggishly at the lowermost depths of the back of my brain, where it met the top of the spinal column.  I could only vaguely see them in what seemed to be gloomy, dark depths.” page 4

After seeing a “carnival of demons” as he describes them “I became conscious, too, of the most beautiful singing I have ever heard in my life, high-pitched and ethereal, emanating from myriad voices on board the galley.”

Later in the vision “They explained to me in a kind of thought language that they were fleeing from something out in space. They had come to the planet earth to escape their enemy. The creatures then showed me how they had created life on the planet in order to hide within the multitudinous forms and thus disguise their presence…I learned that the dragon-like creatures were thus inside of all forms of life, including man.  They were the true masters of humanity and the entire planet, they told me. We humans were but the receptacles and servants of these creatures.  For this reason they could speak to me within myself.” Page 5

During his encounter with these dragon-like creatures in his mind he began to sense their evil nature. “I began to struggle against returning to the ancient ones, who were beginning to feel increasingly alien and possibly evil.” (page 5)

He finally cried out for help and the Indians helped him come back from the experience.

Later on he decided to “solicit a professional opinion from the most supernatural knowledgeable of the Indians, a blind shaman who had made many excursions into the spirit world…It seemed only proper that a blind man might be able to be my guide to the world of darkness.  I went to his hut, taking my notebook with me, and described my visions to him segment by segment.  At first I told him only the highlights; thus, when I came to the dragon-like creatures, I skipped their arrival from space and only said, ‘There were these giant black animals, something like great bats, longer than the length of this house, who said that they were the true masters of the world.‘ There is no word for dragon in Conibo, so ‘giant bat’ was the closest I could come to describe what I had seen.

He stared up toward me with his sightless eyes, and said with a grin, ‘Oh they’re always saying that.  But they are only the Masters of Outer Darkness.’ He waved his hand casually toward the sky. I felt a chill along the lower part of my spine, for I had not yet told him that I had seen them, in my trance, coming from outer space.

I was stunned.  What I had experiences was already familiar to this barefoot, blind shaman.  Know to him from his own explorations of the same hidden world into which I ventured.  From that moment on I decided to learn everything I could about shamanism.

And there was something more that encouraged me in my new quest.  After I recounted my entire experience, he told me that he did not know of anyone who had encountered and learned so much on his first ayahuasca journey.  “You can surely be a master shaman,” he said. (page 7).

It sounds like these spirits want to elevate Michael Harner’s pride.  It appears they have since he fully embraced the doctrines he is receiving.  The description the spirits during his vision match precisely the description of satan and the demon spirits mentioned in the bible!  They are not benevolent good beings, but rather, the opposite!  Michael Harner sensed this evil, but ignored it.

What are the motives of these demons?

There is a war going on in the heavenly realms.  The battlefield are the hearts and minds of human beings.  Demons do what they do to lure human beings away from the truth of God.  They want your worship and devotion because they have pride.  They also want you to join them in rebellion against God.  They want to elevate your pride so you can rely on yourself and them, instead of God.  Ultimately they want you to go to hell where you will be separated from God forever.  Their goal is to see your complete and utter destruction.

In the bible, God forbids the practices that Shamans do such as divination and spirit communication.  The only spirit communication God allows is communication with Him and Him alone.  He knows evil spirits can appear as good, so they can deceive.  He knows the true motives of these spirits and since He loves you, He doesn’t want you to be led away from Him.

Evil spirits keep the shamans prideful, and they give shamans just enough eye candy and lies to keep them going.  In fact, they will go so far as to give you wealth and material benefits in this life, even health.  After all, you will be dead longer than you will be alive.  Why not give you temporary benefits so you can go to hell for eternity?

This deception not only applies to shamans but to people in America who practice it unknowingly.  Any meditation techniques to reach a higher state of consciousness for better health, mental well-being, or attaining greater status in this life is opening oneself up to deceptive spirits who want your destruction.  Remember, shamans say its the spirits themselves which are giving these benefits to people. I am not suggesting anyone who is healthy, wealthy and wise has a demon.  Rather, anyone who practices meditation for the PURPOSE of gaining health, wealth and wisdom are more than likely being influenced by demonic forces.

While it is true shamans are deceived they are deceived willingly.  Michael Harner sensed the spirits were evil but he chose to ignore that feeling because he was more fascinated with the experience than the truth.  Some people are more interested in living the best life now and don’t care so much about the afterlife.  Satan is looking for people like this!

How foolish it is to spend more time focusing on this brief life than preparing for the next!

The Bible is TRUE?

It should be noted that if demons are going through this much trouble to deceive mankind there MUST BE A TRUTH THEY ARE FIGHTING AGAINST!  Why wage a war against something that isn’t true?

Perhaps the bible really IS TRUE, and Jesus is WHO HE CLAIMED TO BE, and the issues of heaven and hell the bible speaks about will affect you when you die.  Its something to consider, after all, you don’t want to be deceived do you?  God isn’t trying to trick you.  He doesn’t lie like demons do.
